‘I liked working with Debbie Harry because she was so picturesque,’ he says. ‘It revolved around whether I was going to get a good picture; if I knew I was going to get a good picture, I enjoyed it.’ Adrian Boot.

Adrian Boot, one of Britain’s best-known music photographers, began his career in the early 1970’s freelancing for NME, Melody Maker, The Times, The Guardian and The Face. Adrian currently is working on new exhibition projects, electronic books and various educational projects with the World Photography Organisation. He continues to travel throughout India, Asia, Africa and Jamaica, searching for and promoting positive images of the planet and its people. Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band were pioneers in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-late 1970s.
